Agra Fort in the Indian State of Uttar Pradesh is a national landmark.
3;4 km from the Taj Mahal
Until 1638 it was the principal residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty.
The 380,000 m2 fort is surrounded by 21 m high walls,
some of them faces the river Yamuna

The Site was built 1565-1573
Since 1983 Agra fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Different historic sites like Shahjahani Mahal, Shish Mahal,
Jahangir's Chain of Justice or Ghaznin Gate
are located inside Agra Fort.
